Best Buddies One-to-One Friendship Programs

Best-Buddies-Logo.jpg

BESTBUDDIES® builds one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), through school and community friendship programs that provide socialization opportunities to help erase the invisible line that often separates students and adults with and without IDD.

The Down Syndrome Connection serves as a host site for Best Buddies matching peers/buddies with college students from University of California, Berkeley. This program is available to young adults,18 and over.

Contact Marianne, at Marianne@dscba.org or (925) 362-8660 x103, if you are interested in learning more about this great program and how to become involved.
